US Environmental Protection Agency Presents Outstanding Achievement Award to Thermo-Scan Inspections
The United States Environmental Protection Agency has presented Thermo-Scan Inspections with the 2003 ENERGY STAR for Homes Outstanding Achievement Award. ENERGY STAR is a government-backed program helping businesses and individuals protect the environment through superior energy efficiency.
David Lee, Director of the ENERGY STAR Residential Programs said, “This award recognized the important contribution that your organization has made to energy efficient construction and environmental protection by sponsoring 1865 ENERGY STAR qualified homes last year”.
Recipients of the ENERGY STAR Awards were honored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Department of Energy at an awards ceremony in Washington D.C. featuring a keynote address by Christie Whitman, Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Phil McMullan, President of Thermo-Scan Inspections expressed satisfaction that the national ENERGY STAR program has recently surpassed the 100,000 home threshold. “This is an important program for our environment and continued quality of life” and “we are very pleased to have contributed to its success”.
